Venezuela’s Maduro Removes Ramirez From Oil, Economy Jobs

Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro removed Rafael Ramirez from economic policy posts in cabinet changes that reduce the probability of financial adjustments in an oil producer saddled with dollar shortages and the world’s highest inflation. Brigadier General Rodolfo Marco Torres replaced Ramirez as the economy vice president, with Asdrubal Chavez named oil minister of the South American country with the world’s largest oil reserves.
